Our user group presentation this month will be by David Larsen. He will be introducing the basics of SQL and its implementation on the IBM i. For some of you, SQL is a very familiar tool you use every day. But for others it is a mystery of what it actually is and why you would want to use it. David will give us an overview of SQL with examples of SQL generation with System Navigator, some embedded SQL examples and many tips on how to get started using SQL. So come and learn how to use this very powerful tool.
David Larson is currently a software engineer at Lagoon Corporation. Previously he was the Director of Information Systems at Murray City for 16 years and also served as IT Director and Manager with other companies. He is also a founding member of the user group and has worked on the IBM i for many years.
